If you would like to be an integral part of the success of the Hobart APES Games, then we would love to hear from you.

You may be a member of our local community, a sporting club, at high school, TAFE or within any of the emergency services. We have a variety of roles for you to choose from:

  • Sports Venues – Our sports programme has over 50 sports.
  • Associated Events – Opening & Closing Ceremonies and in our Hub based in Princes Wharf 1 (PW1).
  • On-call Volunteers – To be called on at any time during the week.

The good stuff:

  • You’ll look like a part of the team with a uniform and a backpack full of goodies.
  • You’ll be fed and hydrated at each shift.
  • You’ll be a part of both the Opening and Closing Ceremonies and official/social functions where there will be food, drink and entertainment provided free of charge.

Please note we cannot supply our volunteers with any accommodation or transport to Hobart, Tasmania. This will be at your own cost. Volunteering at our games is also a non-paid role.
