Strongman and Strongwoman

The Strongman and Strongwoman competition will provide athletes with the opportunity to test their overall strength, power and endurance. Events for this competition will involve pulling, pushing, pressing, carrying and static strength mimicking real-world scenarios for emergency personnel. It will be an impressive display of the physical prowess of the athletes and provide an excellent showcase for spectators.
This competition is designed to be beginner friendly, advanced athletes may elect more challenging weight options.

  • Female 
    • U64kg (weighing up to and including 64.00kgs)
    • U73kg (weighing up to and including 73.00kgs)
    • U82kg (weighing up to and including 82.00kgs)
    • Open (no minimum or maximum weight requirements)
    • Masters (over 40’s) U73kg (weighing up to and including 73.00kgs)
    • Masters (over 40’s) O73kg (weighing 73.01kgs and above)
  • Male
    • U80kg (weighing up to and including 80.00kgs)
    • U90kg (weighing up to and including 90.00kgs) 
    • U105kg (weighing up to and including 105.00kgs)
    • U120kg (weighing up to and including 120.00kgs)
    • Heavyweight (no minimum or maximum weight requirements)
    • Masters (over 40’s) U105kg (weighing up to and including 105.00kgs)
    • Masters (over 40’s) O105kg (weighing 105.01kgs and above)

This may change depending on the number of competitors.

  • 5 events testing each competitor’s total athletic strength.
    • Hercules Hold
    • Emergency Services Vehicle Pull (APES Games Kia) – Hand over hand by rope
    • Conan’s Wheel
    • Overhead for points
      • Monster Dumbbell- 3 points
      • Keg- 5 points
      • Wagon wheel axle- 10 points
    • Deadlift ladder
      • Deadlift bar
      • Kratos bar
      • Axle bar

Check in: Weigh-in for the event will commence at 8am.

Start time: 9am.

Toilets: Yes.

First Aid: First aid officer will be on site during the event.

Food/Beverage: Food trucks and onsite café will be operating during the event for food and beverages.

Getting there: Competitors will need to source and arrange their own transport to this event and venue.

Free vehicle parking is available at the venue with space for buses and minibuses if required.
