It’s time to let the paddle do the talking. Pickleball is a growing racket sport that has gained popularity worldwide. It combines elements of various sports, including tennis, badminton, and table tennis, and is played with a ball similar to a tennis ball and special paddles. It is typically played on a smaller court than tennis, divided into service areas similar to volleyball. The goal is to score points through rallies, similar to tennis but at a slower and more accessible pace.

Competition Categories:
- Individual Male and Female in the below age groups:
- 18-34 / 35-49 / 50-59 / 60+
- Doubles Male, Female and Mixed- open ages groups.
If there are insufficient numbers in each age division the event organisers may combine age divisions to ensure a competition is viable.
Competition Structure:
- Division pools with round robin.
- Top players/teams qualify for finals.
- All games are win by 2 points.
- Wherever possible, players will play a minimum of three games per event.
- Paddles will be available to hire if needed.
Competition Schedule:
- Wednesday 14 October- Singles.
- Thursday 15 October- Male Doubles/ Female Doubles.
- Friday 16 October Mixed Doubles.
Check in: No later than 30mins prior to the start of the event.
Toilets: Yes.
Change Rooms: Yes.
First Aid: Basic first aid available, please see your sports coordinator if required.
Food/Beverage: The KDV Sport Bar & Grill will be open from 11am till late for food and beverage needs.
Getting there: Competitors will need to source and arrange their own transport to this event and venue.
Vehicle parking is available at the venue.
