The selected course for this event is cross country style riding, however there are still some very good descents to be had. Technically, the place can be a challenge with a solid, but enjoyable climb in the middle of the course of small and large hills, rocks and only partially groomed trails. Perhaps, in terms of difficulty, a level or two above the other popular tracks in this part of the State.
The course itself is roughly 6km in length, starting with a fire road climb to get the heart started and give riders room to self-seed before dropping into the single track.
There are a couple of short descents and climbs before settling into a flowing climb leading you the 4km mark and the long 1.8km decent back to the start finish line. The course is a fun course and targeted at riders of all levels.
