Manu

Get ready to make the biggest splash at the GC Aqua Park. In New Zealand, "manu" refers to a popular diving technique and social activity where individuals leap from heights, like bridges or diving platforms, into water, aiming to create the biggest possible splash. This practice, sometimes also called "bombing," has its roots in Māori and Pasifika traditions and has become a national pastime. Manu involves a body position similar to a bomb dive, where the diver curls into a V-shape before hitting the water, generating a large splash.
