Take on the open road in the Cycling Road Race, a thrilling test of stamina, strategy, and speed. Riders will navigate a challenging course through the quiet roads of Beechmont and Witheren featuring rolling terrain, sharp turns, and long straights designed to push every competitor to their limits.
Riders will begin on Pineapple Boulevard and roll south along Nerang-Murwillumbah Drive turning right onto Shepherd Hill Lane. They take a right turn to head down Clarigaba Road before turning left onto Beaudesert–Nerang Road, past the Kokoda Barracks. Riders then turn left onto Beechmont Road to finish at the starting line. The 54 km route will suit riders of all abilities and challenge most.

- Individual Male and Female categories in the below age groups:
- 18-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ (all age categories will be separated into 5 year increments and continue past 70+ if required)
Race Details:
The race will start at the Latter-day Saints Church carpark, Pineapple Boulevard, Mount Nathan.
Check in: 7:30am (30mins prior to the event briefing).
Timings:
- Briefing: 8:00am.
- Start: 8:30am.
- Cut off time: 12:00pm.
- Competitors must complete the race by the cut off time or risk being removed from the event course.
Safety: All bikes will be subject to an equipment safety check prior to each competitor being permitted to participate.
Toilets: Yes.
Change Rooms: No.
First Aid: Basic first aid available, please see your sports coordinator if required.
Food/Beverage: No.
Getting there: Competitors will need to source and arrange their own transport to this event and venue.
Free vehicle parking is available at the venue with space for buses and minibuses if required.
