Competition Categories:
- Individual Male and Female categories in the below age groups:
- 18-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ (all age categories will be separated into 5 year increments and continue past 70+ if required)
Competition Structure:
- The criterium circuit has a scenic 1500meter asphalt surface which includes a 200meter hill.
- The race will be time and distance based with 50minutes plus 3 laps to complete the greatest number of laps in the fastest time.
Check in: 8:00am (30mins prior to the event briefing).
Timings:
- Briefing: 8:30am
- Start: 9:00am
- Cut off time: 10.30am
- Competitors must complete the race by the cut off time or they risk being removed from the event course
Safety: Please note that all bikes will be subject to an equipment safety check prior to each competitor being permitted to participate.
Toilets: Yes.
Change Rooms: Yes.
First Aid: First Aid officers will be on site during the event.
Food/Beverage: Local shops and cafes are available to purchase food and beverage from.
Getting there: Competitors will need to source and arrange their own transport to this event and venue. Access is directly off Hope Street Nerang on the Western side of the circuit.
Free vehicle parking is available at the venue with space for buses and minibuses if required.
