Ready to test your endurance across land and water? The Aquathon combines the thrill of open-water swimming with the intensity of a fast-paced run. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just up for a new adventure, this race is your chance to push limits and soak up the Broadwater scenery.
Date: Monday 12 October 2026 Time: 8am – 12pm Cost: $40 ($20 per person for team event)
Address: Broadwater Parklands, Marine Parade, Southport.

- 1km swim | 5km run
Competition Categories:
- Individual Male and Female in the below age groups:
- 18-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ (all age categories will be separated into 5 year increments and continue past 70+ if required)
Competition Structure:
- Event will be run in age and gender waves.
Check in: No later than 30mins prior to the start of the event.
Toilets: Yes.
Change Rooms: Yes.
First Aid: First aid officers will be on site during the event.
Food/Beverage: Local cafés and restaurant will be available to purchase food and beverages from.
Getting there: Competitors will need to source and arrange their own transport to this event and venue.
Paid parking is available at the location.
