Address: Mitchell Park Boat Ramp, Broadwater Parklands, Marine Parade, Southport.

Just a heads-up for the adventurers with boats over 6 meters, low tide can make things a bit tricky, and some boaters have noted that the ramp isn’t as steep in those conditions.

Competition Categories: 

• Target Species- Flathead, Bream, Whiting, Tailor.
• Fishing Method- Boat-based or land-based.
• Scoring- Length – total length of each species caught and longest fish in each species.

• If you have your own boat and are willing to take out another competitor please contact the Games Management Team. 
• If you are looking to hire a boat for the competition – Gold Coast Boat Hire will offer a $50 discount for competitors – call Nic on 0432 710 892 to receive the discount instead of booking online.

• Between 3pm and 5pm
• Fishing Hub, Northern Pavilion, Broadwater Parklands, Corner of Marine Parade and North Street Southport.  

Toilets: Public toilets are available in the Broadwater Parklands.

Change Rooms: No.

First Aid: Basic first aid kit will be available through the sports coordinator.

Food/Beverage: No onsite food providers however there are nearby cafes.

Getting there:  Competitors will need to source and arrange their own transport to this event and venue.

Free vehicle parking is available at the location.
