Address: Mitchell Park Boat Ramp, Broadwater Parklands, Marine Parade, Southport.
Just a heads-up for the adventurers with boats over 6 meters, low tide can make things a bit tricky, and some boaters have noted that the ramp isn’t as steep in those conditions.
Competition Categories:
- Target Species- Flathead, Bream, Whiting, Tailor.
- Fishing Method- Boat-based or land-based.
- Scoring- Length – total length of each species caught and longest fish in each species.
Check in: No later than 30mins prior to the start of the event at the Mitchell Park Boat Ramp.
Toilets: Public toilets are available in the Broadwater Parklands.
Change Rooms: No.
First Aid: Basic first aid kit will be available through the sports coordinator.
Food/Beverage: No onsite food providers however there are nearby cafes.
Getting there: Competitors will need to source and arrange their own transport to this event and venue.
Free vehicle parking is available at the location.
