The APES Games are a biennial multi-sport event open to serving and retired members of eligible Police and Emergency Services agencies across Australasia. The Games promote mental and physical wellbeing, encourage friendly competition, and foster lifelong friendships across jurisdictions and borders.
The 2026 APES Games would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors and partners. Their investment in the health and wellbeing of our emergency services personnel enables us to deliver an inclusive, memorable and professionally run event. We proudly acknowledge and thank all our valued sponsors for their contribution.
Located at the heart of the Games, The Hub will be the central meeting place for athletes, officials, and supporters. It will house accreditation services, merchandise, information desk, sponsor activations and serve as the social centre throughout the week...not to mention over 25 sports being contested right at the hub. Drop in to relax, catch up with colleagues, or grab the latest Games update.
Participation in the APES Games is open to current and retired employees (sworn and unsworn) of recognised Police and Emergency Services agencies in Australasia. All competitors must comply with the Games’ eligibility guidelines and policies, which are designed to ensure fairness, integrity and the highest standards of sportsmanship.
